Typically three to six weeks depending on hair growth, skin type, and hormones. Avoid shaving between appointments; regular waxing can extend smoothness. Schedule follow-ups every four to six weeks for consistent results and reduced regrowth.
Exfoliate gently forty-eight hours before and keep hair length about quarter inch. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, retinoids, and moisturizers on the day. Arrive clean and bare-skinned to allow the esthetician to work effectively and reduce irritation.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but our estheticians use numbing techniques, soothing waxes, and calming aftercare to minimize pain. Regular waxing reduces sensitivity over time. We can discuss options to make your first visit as comfortable as possible.
We recommend scheduling appointments every four to six weeks based on your personal growth cycle. Consistent timing ensures optimal hair length for removal and helps reduce regrowth. Your esthetician will advise a tailored schedule after evaluating your hair and skin.
Topical retinoids, chemical peels, and certain laser or microdermabrasion treatments increase sensitivity and risk of damage. Discontinue retinoids at least seven days prior and inform us of recent procedures. We'll assess skin condition and reschedule if necessary for safety.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, strenuous exercise, and direct sun for 24-48 hours. Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer and avoid exfoliating for two days. If irritation occurs, use a cool compress and contact us for guidance.
