Get answers to common questions about Full Arm Wax.
To prepare, avoid sun exposure and exfoliate gently 24-48 hours before. Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long and skip moisturizers or oils on the day. If you use topical medications or have concerns, consult us before booking.
A Full Arm Wax typically takes 20–40 minutes depending on hair density and client comfort. Allow extra time for consultation and post-wax soothing; overall appointment time may be 30–50 minutes. Our technicians work efficiently while ensuring comfort and thorough aftercare instructions.
You may experience temporary redness and minor irritation immediately after waxing; these typically subside within a few hours to a day. We use soothing gels and provide aftercare guidance to reduce bumps and recommend exfoliation to prevent ingrown hairs.
Results generally last three to six weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and lifestyle. With regular waxing appointments, regrowth often becomes finer and less dense, extending the smooth intervals between sessions.
Topical retinoids increase skin sensitivity and risk of tearing during waxing. We recommend stopping retinoids 5–7 days before your appointment or consulting your dermatologist. Inform your esthetician so we can adjust technique or recommend alternatives.
Full Arm Waxing suits most skin types and hair textures, but we assess each client individually. Sensitive or darker skin may require patch testing and specific wax formulations. Discuss concerns or medical conditions during booking for a safe, personalized service.
