Get answers to common questions about Fibroblast Half Face (Upper or Lower).
Results vary, but many clients notice improvements for 1–3 years. Longevity depends on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and maintenance treatments. Occasional touch-up sessions extend results and support ongoing collagen production.
Most clients experience mild to moderate discomfort rather than sharp pain. Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimize sensations. Sensations are described as heat or tiny pinpricks; tolerance varies, and providers adjust settings for comfort.
Expect redness, swelling, and tiny scabs for about 5–10 days. Most people can resume light activities quickly, but avoid heavy exercise, sun exposure, and topical irritants. Full healing and collagen remodeling continue over several weeks to months.
Good candidates are adults with mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, or sagging in one half of the face. Those with unrealistic expectations, active skin infections, or recent isotretinoin use may be advised against treatment.
Typically one treatment delivers visible tightening, but 1–3 sessions spaced 8–12 weeks apart may be recommended for optimal results. Your provider will assess skin response and customize a plan based on severity and desired improvement.
Common temporary effects include redness, swelling, crusting, and tenderness. Rare complications can include infection, scarring, hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation. Following pre- and post-care instructions and selecting an experienced provider reduces risks significantly.
