We evaluate each client's medical history, medications, and skin conditions during a free consultation. Certain conditions—pregnancy, active skin infections, chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, or recent Accutane use—may disqualify or delay treatment until medically cleared.

Permanent makeup is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to infection risk and pigment uncertainties. Please wait until after breastfeeding or consult your physician; we will schedule when it is medically safe and appropriate.

Blood thinners, anticoagulants, isotretinoin (Accutane), immunosuppressants, chemotherapy, and topical retinoids can increase bleeding and impair pigment retention. Disclose all medications at consultation; we may request physician clearance or a postponement for safe healing.

Avoid alcohol, aspirin, NSAIDs, fish oil, excessive sun, tanning, chemical peels, waxing, and brow tinting before your appointment. Wait recommended intervals after Botox (about two weeks) and dermal fillers (approximately four weeks) and follow our pre-care instructions.

Initial healing takes about seven to fourteen days as the skin flakes and pigment settles; full skin healing and color stabilization occur over four to six weeks. A touch-up is usually scheduled at six to eight weeks to perfect shape and color.

Yes—recent Botox or fillers can change facial movement and tissue position, affecting pigment placement and healing. Wait at least two weeks after Botox and around four weeks after fillers, or consult us to determine safe timing for your procedure.
