Get answers to common questions about Microshading with Ombre Powder.

Avoid blood-thinning medications (aspirin, NSAIDs), alcohol, excessive caffeine, and herbal supplements for 48-72 hours. Discontinue retinoids and chemical exfoliants two weeks prior and avoid sun exposure and tanning one week before your appointment.

Microshading is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to immune and healing considerations. We require clients to wait and consult their physician; schedule a free consultation to discuss timing and alternatives.

Certain medications like anticoagulants, Accutane, immune suppressants, and high-dose steroids can increase bleeding or affect healing. Disclose all medications and supplements during consultation so we can advise appropriate waiting periods or obtain medical clearance.

Wait at least two weeks after Botox and typically two to four weeks after dermal fillers before Microshading. Timing reduces swelling and product migration risk; always disclose recent aesthetic treatments at your consultation.

Conditions like uncontrolled diabetes, active skin infections, herpes outbreaks, keloid scarring tendency, certain autoimmune disorders, recent chemo, or blood-clotting disorders may contraindicate the procedure. Medical clearance from your healthcare provider may be required.

Prepare by avoiding tanning, eyebrow tinting, and harsh treatments two weeks prior and stop blood thinners as advised. Aftercare: keep brows dry, avoid makeup, sun, sweating, and picking; apply recommended ointment and attend a 6–8 week touch-up.
